For TARGE 2009 a special 28mm figure has been commissioned by the club.  The figure is of the Marquis of Montrose and will be issued free to the first 200 entrants at the desk.  A small number of figures may also be issued to the participating clubs.

Judging Panel :

Barry Hilton, Principal Judge - League of Augsburg, League of Gentlemen Wargamers, a major influence in wargaming.
Dave Gallagher - a pal from art college days who helped found Kirriemuir Wargames Club in 1985, Dave has been one of the principal illustrators with Games Workshop for many years. Dave is also a figure designer and no mean figure painter himself.
Derek Moore – long term member of Phoenix Wargames Club in Glasgow Derek’s high quality painting is well known to all in Scotland.
Dave Douglas - a long term stalwart of SESWC, with a wargaming history longer than a piece of string.
Ian Soutar Our panel of five judges have many years of experience in wargaming and modelling - and not one of them looks over.........

Our Services to Wargaming trophy was awarded to Charles Grant OBE in 2007 and last year to Duncan MacFarlane where the presentation was conducted at Partizan. The 2009 winner will be announced at TARGE.

An entirely new category and trophy was awarded for the first time in 2008. This took the form of an authentic full sized TARGE to be awarded annually at the discretion of the club committee. In 2008 it was won by Steve Rimmer for his Joan of Arc demonstration table.
